The complex primitivity in simplicity:
When there’s literally nothing available to Skate, the Skateboarder can entertain himself with the simplest, most mundayne asphalts and turn it into a Spot. Ollie over it, Kickflip, Heelflip, Half Cab, Front 180, Back 180, Fakie Heel, Fakie Kick, Shove it, Nollie Shove… and so on. Those who know understand.
It’s about camaraderie and trying and failing and trying again.

Seeing you standing in a shade of blue
Backlit and framed, a scent of cosmic time
Your presence is precious that's what I knew
Seeing you standing in a light hearted shade of blue
Unspoken words with tenderness and light
"A diamond in the rough between rocky cliffs Beautiful and untouched Honest and full of hope Powerful basses, dreamy melodies, spherical carpets of sounds and a warm, friendly voice A mix of rock, indie-pop and experimental with a refreshing breeze of 80ies" -Cove Diamond
L.A. the biggest dreams
the highest hopes
The deepest fall.
Dreams built, dreams shattered.
But what is THE dream?

When going on a Surf Trip there’s usually just so much we can plan. We can search the interweb for places that tend to suit our abilities, look for places to stay that match our vision of a certain look and comfort. We can calculate what board would serve us best depending on a few factors of the chosen waves & our body indexes. But then again once we arrive at the holy destination things often tend to be just a little different that we may have expected to be.

We, the ones that didn’t become pro. We, who pursued different roads. We pack our bags on the weekend. Load our cars, ride the trains, walk through the villages. With our Snowboards in our hands. With anticipation in our hearts. We ride. And we love it. Snowboarding allows us to play in nature. On the mountains that are just in front of our homes. A privilege that we make use of. We, the average Snowboarders.
This is a portrait of friendship and of passion.

music photography
Music is the Soundtrack to our lives.
Burning Sage is a five-piece band from Thun, Switzerland, and they're making their public debut with their EP "These Days". Entirely self-produced, "These Days" reflects their search for their own authentic sound and defies categorization into a single genre. You can hear echoes of 60s/70s rock, a dash of folk, and influences from alternative and psychedelic music. From soft rhythms to driving beats, and soaring harmonies between keys and electric guitar, Burning Sage's music is characterized by its ability to shift seamlessly between moods and textures.
A short cut trip to the southwest of France.
Due to covid, three days was all that was left of a longer planned, surf intented trip to the southwest of France.
